Since 2008, I've been teaching various bioinformatics-related subjects, such as statistics, network analysis, programming in Shell, Perl, R, Python, biological sequence analysis, genomics of microorganisms. A large part of my teaching (>150h) takes place in the Bioinformatics Master's program at Clermont Auvergne University. 

My research focuses on the study of viral communities in different ecosystems (e.g. human gut, freshwater lakes, hypersaline ponds) using viral metagenomics. Virome analysis provides information on the composition and diversity of viral communities in these environments, enabling us to study the factors influencing these communities. These sequencing data also enable us to analyze the viral families present in these environments. 
In order to carry out the analysis of these data, and to help other researchers to do so, I have participated in the development of various software packages and databases (VirSorter, WIsH, PHROGs, etc.).
